If you live in England or Wales and plan to hold your civil ceremony at 19 Bar & Grill, Preston Golf Club, please read the guidance below. We’ve also included a helpful link to get the process started with your local registrar
Civil ceremonies can be conducted by registrars between 10:00am and 5:00pm, Monday to Saturday, subject to availability. Registrars can be booked up to three years in advance, so we strongly recommend contacting Lancashire Registration Service as soon as your provisional booking with us is confirmed.
Please note: your ceremony cannot legally take place without the presence of the registrars.
The content of your ceremony must be approved in advance by the superintendent registrar attending on the day. By law, the ceremony must be non-religious, so any music, readings, or performances must reflect that.
The registrar will be happy to support you with personalising your ceremony while ensuring it meets legal requirements.
Please note: pets and animals are not permitted during the ceremony.
Please be aware that booking a registrar is your responsibility and not included in our wedding packages.
You must contact Lancashire Registration Service directly to arrange and pay for a registrar to attend your civil ceremony.
To begin the process, you can complete an online enquiry form via the Lancashire County Council website. A registrar will then contact you to discuss availability and confirm your ceremony date and time.
Our experienced team will guide you in selecting the most suitable package and can help you mix and match elements from our existing options to suit your preferences. We also offer dedicated civil wedding packages, making it even easier to plan your entire celebration — from the legal ceremony to the reception — all in one beautiful location.
With fresh, locally sourced ingredients and attentive service, we’ll ensure every detail is taken care of, so whether you’re planning an intimate ceremony or a larger celebration, your wedding day will be truly memorable.
